Hi, we're Maithili and Aneesha, co-founders of Tokitrip.
I (Maithili), grew up traveling with my family. My dad often worked in Europe and even lived in Germany and Switzerland for a while. Whenever we visited him, our family of four would get in the car and drive across borders to explore new countries. That's when the travel bug bit me.
Aneesha has always been an avid traveler too. We met through my brother, who was convinced we'd click. He was right. In one of our first conversations, she mentioned she was going to Japan with some friends and asked if I wanted to join. I said yes, and that trip changed everything. We became close friends, I went back to Japan twice more because I loved it so much, and Tokitrip was born.
